Norfolk Broads - North Broads

For this part of our journey we were joined by Tony & Kay Mellon, two of the best friends we could ever have.

Steve was our main Captain and the rest of us were the "crew".  The fun and laughter we had during our ten days on the broads was the best tonic for us all.

​

There are so many places to visit and sights to see as you cruise along at a lesuirely speed of between four to six miles per hour, depending on the speed limit in particular stretches of the broads.  The properties along the sides of the route are quite something, some with their own moorings and boathouses. 

​

We found lots of local pubs where we could moor up overnight for free and of course if would be very rude not to have a delicious meal and a few drinks too.

​

The other good news is that nobody fell in!  Although there were a couple of near misses from Tony and Steve!
