Wandering around the Cathereral for a few hours was very interesting.  Steve had never visited Canterbury before, however, I had some memory of visiting with my parents as a child.  It is always humbling to think how long ago the building was built with  primitive tools and over a much longer period than modern churches.  The constant renovation on a building such as this is very skilled and hence very expensive.
