Fell Foot
Fell Foot Park is owned and managed by the National Trust.
We chose to visit on a sunny afternoon, having already spotted it when we went on our boat trip on Lake Windermere where it meets the River Leven.
The site is on the banks of Lake Windermere, and although not big, is such a peaceful place to wander, or sit on one of the many benches to admire the views.
At the Activity Centre, there are many water sport activities that you can take part in. Paddle Boarding, Canoeing, Kayaking, Wild Water Swimming, or just simply taking a paddle in the shallow water by the edge.
We stuck with the walks and benches as the people in the water said it was very cold!
