Dover is very famous for "The White Cliffs of Dover" which inspired a song from Vera Lynn during wartime and the area draws in millions of visitors every year.

Watching the cruise liners come and go from port was interesting and being able to sit drinking coffee, and in my case eating ice cream, with the white cliffs behind us and the sea in front of us, made a perfect day.
