After a bit of a slow start....
On Thursday the 12th May 2021, two excited people prepared to travel with a hooked up caravan, however, the plan went a bit adrift.
The brake lights on the caravan would not work. Steve tried checking the fuses and we called the RAC who said they might be able to get to us in 4-5 hours, so we called our friendly caravan mechanic who said he could get to us sooner than that but not for a couple of hours at least. So ever resourceful Steve set to taking the plug apart and found a loose wire, which got fixed quickly. A phone call to cancel the help from RAC and our mechanic and finally we left at 1pm.
We have been in Malvern since Wednesday afternoon and it rained very heavily for the last two nights. Today is brighter and the late afternoon sunshine was great. We have been out and about in the Worcester area today getting familiar with our surroundings.
The site is nice and all the hardstanding pitches are busy, however, most of the grass pitches are a complete "no-go" area due to the heavy rain and approximately seventy people were telephoned and told not to come. So sad for these people who had probably been looking forward to their holiday/weekend break and hoping that the weather improves in the coming weeks.
We are pleased to report that we have everything we need on-board and are will be here until 21st.
Hoping that you are all keeping well and enjoying life!
