Booking up takes time
During the last few weeks we have been researching the net looking at places we would like to visit in each area and making a wish list for these. I think I have about a third of our preferred sites still to book, the Jacobite train too as they don't publish their timetable until December for next year. At least we have booked the boat on the Norfolk Broads and found a really nice site to stay not far from the marina where we pick up the boat. We are sharing this particular experience on the Broads with two very special friends who I have known for almost forty years.
We have been able to identify at least four special places, mini-journeys, or events in each area where we will be staying. Some things have to be booked in advance to ensure availability and others will be dependent on the good old British weather.
Having changed our plans for this year we are hoping that if circumstances allow we may visit parts of Wales this year during the later Summer months and will also spending some time with family and friends. Far too many hugs have already been missed!
