Countdown to 12th May 2021
We are finally hoping to start a shorter tour of the UK (Just England for now) on 12th May 2021.
Yet again, a great deal of planning and dealing with cancellations of all the sites we were due to visit in Scotland. Not a decision we really wanted to make, however, starting our journey later in the year than we hoped would mean we would be there for mosquito season if we stayed in all the places we wanted to stay. Add to this the Scottish tier system and it was an easier decision to make. So England it is for 2021!
We are staying at a variety of types of sites, mostly in places where we have never spent any amount of time having a really good look around. Now we are just hoping that the weather is kind to us and places of interest and the country as a whole does open up more. Realistically we think we will be wearing our masks and social distancing for most, if not all of the time we are away.
We can't wait to set off and share this experience with all of you!
