Next Move

This Wednesday we move on again to Pooley Bridge, on the banks of Ullswater, where we will stay until 2nd July.

We have loved the Yorkshire Dales & Moors and spent yesterday at Malham Cove with my Mum's cousin Tim and his wife Judith. It was so nice to see them again, and they still walk far further and more often than we do, which puts us to shame.

The falls at Malham Cove were dry as there has not been much rain in this part of Yorkshire for some time. The rivers are more like streams as they wander through the moors. Even the river in the village in High Bentham is very low, exposing rocks and rock pools along the way.

So on to the next adventures in Ullswater and the surrounding areas!
