Now in Yorkshire
After a lovely couple of weeks in the Aquamarina near Nantwich we have moved on again and we are now at Riverside.
We have taken a couple of drives around and dipped into the Forest of Bowland, finding nice tearooms for lunch. Then yesterday, we ventured out towards the Yorkshire Moors and saw some stunning views and just sat and listened to the complete silence. Then we found yet another nice tearooms for an afternoon snack.
Today is wet and time to use the on-site laundry. Even travelling we seem to make exactly the same amount of washing that we do at home. Housework, however, is considerably less than at home!
Plans for the coming days include a trip on Lake Windermere by boat, linking in to a ride on another steam train then back on the train and boat. This tour includes a few stops along the way to see different villages, so it will be a full day out.
We have joined the National Trust so there will be some historic houses, castles and lovely gardens in future photos, too.
